If you've finish all step on pre requisite, please proceed to this knowledgebase, the story about managing SQL Server Database using IIS Manager 7.0.

1. After you successfully connected to a website using IIS Manager 7.0 on your local machine, you should find a "Connection String" option under ASP.NET section. Actually, this is your ordinary connection strings on web.config file of your ASP.NET Application.

2. Open the Connection Strings feature to modify it and click "Add...".

3. Fill in the Connection Strings with your database information.

4. If all your database information was valid, you have a valid connection strings used by IIS to manage the database. Open Database Manager Feature under Management section.

5. IIS Manager 7.0 now ready to manage your database based on your valid database information and connection strings.
